Job vacancy for an auto mechanic in Johannesburg.
Job responsibilities:
- Service light motor vehicles, SUV’s and 4x4’s
- General mechanical repairs
- Inspect and report in writing vehicle faults and defects
- Test drive vehicles
- Follow instructions from Manager
- Responsible for all tools and equipment, both your own toolbox and the workshops tools; hang tools up after use.
- Jack up vehicles with the safety measures in place
- Fit trestles safely
- Operate hoist
- Use hydraulic and power tools
- Clean workshops before leaving
- Execute all work in a safe manner
Job requirements:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday from 07h00 to 17h30, Saturday's from 08h00 to 13h00
- Matric
- Qualified red seal mechanic
- Valid drivers’ license 4 years
- Experience in servicing latest vehicle models
