A retail training facility situated in Sebenza, Edenvale is currently looking to employ a mature, experienced, reliable and pro-active person to run our in-house canteen.
Job requirements:
- Please note that this is a Fixed Term Contract Position which will commence 01 March 2018 and end 31 October 2018 (8 months), with the option of renewal in 2019.
- Have knowledge of food safety regulations in a food manufacturing environment.
- Have three to five years of suitable experience working as a chef/cook in a hotel, restaurant, hospital, school or industrial canteen.
- Have a passion for cooking simple, home-style meals
- Have experience in purchasing and stock control management (order, store and account for food).
- Have good customer service and strong communication skills.
- Have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Be able to manage the consistent upkeep of set standards within agreed budgetary limits.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday 07h30 to 16h30.
- Market related salary based on experience.
