A vacancy exists for a professional nurse to join our dynamic team effective 2 May 2018 (or nearest available date). Patients to be seen in their homes. Illnesses range from Cancer, Motor Neuron Disease to AIDS and DRTB.
All East London areas are serviced ranging from urban to more rural.
Job requirements:
- The suitable candidate has to be a compassionate, warm, energetic person without any prejudices, willing to go the extra mile for his/her patients and organisation.
- They should be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, and be flexible and adaptable in a changeable and vibrant work place.
- Current Registration with SA Nursing Council.
- General Nursing Science Degree / Community Nursing Diploma
- Valid code 08 driver’s licence
- Bilingual with excellent written and spoken command of English
- Computer Literate
- Sound recordkeeping and administration skills
- Qualification in Palliative Care would be an advantage
- 5 years’ experience
- Key performance Areas:
- Quality home based palliative care nursing through home visits
- Supervision of home based carers
- Accurate Recordkeeping
- Salary Range: R203 940 – R205 200.
