A private speech therapy practice based in Milnerton is seeking to employ a speech therapist on a full time basis.
Job requirements:
- A degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Valid and current HPCSA registration and Malpractice insurance.
- Special interest within neurological and dysphagia management.
- A minimum of 2 years experience.
- Must have own transport and be able to travel to acute hospitals and between facilities.
- Awareness of evidence based practice.
- Basic Computer knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- It would be to the candidate's advantage if you have acquired further training , experience and qualifications in neurological and cognitive dysphagia rehabilitation.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide Speech therapy interventions - in and outpatient therapy
- Determine clinical diagnosis and provide speech therapy treatment indicated as an independent practitioner.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Available to work weekends and public holidays on a rotation schedule.
