As we extend our product range beyond purely business funding and into business banking, we're looking for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager who loves combining data, tech and creativity to deliver business impact. You're customer-obsessed, performance driven and adept at collaborating across teams. You love getting stuck into the data to understand your customer, and then using your creative streak and knowledge of marketing levers to drive the growth of a product. You'll be comfortable talking value propositions one minute, and campaign execution tactics the next.
Reporting into our Chief Marketing Officer, this is a newly created role focused on ensuring our newly launched business banking platform achieves the lofty ambitions we've set for it.
Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Build a deep understanding of our banking customers and the competitive landscape in order to create data-driven, actionable insights for Product, Sales and Marketing teams
- Using these insights, own the development (and evolution) of the product value proposition and positioning
- Lead the development of impactful go to market and ongoing acquisition strategies, collaborating with our Brand team, Marketing channel owners, Sales and Customer Service teams to execute these plans.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager for Retention to drive high levels of retention, guide the implementation of retention focused marketing activity to banking customers
- Ensure our customer facing operational teams are fully aware of the product benefits and features, and know how to communicate these to customers
- As we progress through the rollout phases, collaborate with our Product team to refine the target audience
- Analyse performance and run experiments to ensure our product marketing campaigns deliver maximum business impact
- Input into the setting of product acquisition and retention goals, and then own delivery against the relevant targets
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills: you are a charismatic people-person, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and distill data into actionable insights and to inform campaign strategy and product development.
- Able to combine your analytical strengths with the ability to turn opportunities into innovative solutions
- Customer focused; able to see things from the customer's perspective and build an understanding of their needs, good comprehension of UX basics
- Entrepreneurial by nature and comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever changing, scale up environment
- A Passion for Lula's mission and the products we create to deliver on this
- Adaptable team player
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a Marketing or Product role in a high growth, fast paced environment for a tech led business (preferably in the B2B financial services sector)
- Extensive experience setting strategic direction and project managing complex go-to-market campaigns that require input and execution from cross-functional teams
- A strong understanding of on and offline marketing channels (in-product, digital, PR and offline), and a track record of delivering business impact across these
- In-depth knowledge of web analytics tools
- Extensive A/B testing and data analytics experience
- Experience in market research is a plus
