Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of machine tools under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities according to company procedures.
- Learn and apply knowledge about different types of machinery and their components, including electrics, hydraulics, and mechanical parts.
- Collaborate with the senior team to ensure machines are functioning efficiently and safely.
- Technical background: Certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of machinery electrics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems is essential.
- Previous machine tool service experience would be a significant advantage, but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience through an apprenticeship or technical high school is highly desirable.
- Knowledge in fitting and turning is a plus, especially if you are interested in moving into a broader role involving machine maintenance and repair.
