Purpose of Job
To support with the maintenance of mechanical / electro-mechanical / electro-mechanical systems and equipment. To operate mechanical / electro-mechanical devices and systems, and accurately and efficiently collect field data to ensure optimum productivity.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
Transporting of spares / tools from workshop to site. Valves, bolts, psvs etc.
Transporting of spares from central corridor workshops to area workshops and site.
Daily cleaning of plant (transporting of scrap bins to workshop, emptying thereof and transporting empty bins back to site)
During stripping of GO/BD gasifiers, the work scope includes removal/ transportation of Coal feeder /Coal lock/ Ash lock / Expansion vessels / wash coolers, removal/ replacing of wash cooler sumps.
Offloading of spares delivered e.g. bolts, pipes, Bosman skirts, wash coolers, jacket plates etc.
Transporting / collecting of spares from workshops /western side
Formal Education
National Senior Certificate or N3
