What will you do?
Under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files. Routines are generally prescribed and supervision is readily available.
What will make you successful in this role?
This role is focused on, but not limited to; servicing requests, including enquiries.
- Providing telephonic/ email support to the Relationship Managers and Service Consultants, Finance business unit, Legal and compliance dept, IT, Access management and other business units in Santam
- Dealing with intermediary specific enquiries;
- Assisting to resolve all intermediary related queries within required timeframe and compliance requirements;
- Undertaking follow-ups when documents are outstanding to enable completion of a query.
- Managing client expectation on expected turnaround times for submitted requests;
- Adhering to Legal and compliance criteria and Santam requirements;
- Advising Relationship Managers and Service Consultants to ensure that the at the corrects documents are signed and submitted.
- Assisting in implementing solutions for process improvement
- Standing in for Consultants should they be absent or on leave during busy periods or absence of key resources, assisting where required.
- Matric/ Grade 12
- Previous Agency Maintenance Experience will be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years experience in short term insurance
- Santam system knowledge (Mainframe, PolicyCentre, JDE)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in business language
- Excellent interpersonal skills with internal colleagues and external stakeholders/clients in a hybrid way of work
- Ensure adherence to quality, compliance and accreditation standards
- Conduct efficient administration
