Requirements
- Degree/ National Diploma in engineering or equivalent e.g. electrical, mechanical, mechatronics.
- 4-7 Years relevant experience in an industrial/automotive manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of project management principles, practices and execution experience essential.
- Sound technical knowledge of PLC and related coding/language, instrumentation and drive systems.
- Strong experience in prevention and predictive maintenance.
- Providing support to maintenance supervisors and manager with multi-disciplinary technical know-how and problem solving such as electrical, mechanical, structural, etc.
- Ensuring safe engineering practices and diligence is applied in all physical activity and technical solutions conceptualized and implemented.
- Ensuring that any potential safety and fire hazards are mitigated and eliminated whilst informing management of such aspects.
- Reporting on technical, engineering concerns or faults.
- Maintaining specifications, standing instructions and procedures.
- Developing, planning and updating overall maintenance processes and activities.
- Advising and assist planning and production in the introduction and commissioning of new machinery and process plant to ensure effective change management.
- Approving final acceptance of mechanical, electrical, structural and civil installations relative to workshop, maintenance and safety requirements.
