Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform regular inspections and equipment audits to identify maintenance needs and address them in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment records, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, and order as needed.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
- Proven experience working as a Maintenance Foreman or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Computer literate with proficiency in maintenance management software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
