Sub-Contractors
- Supervise on-site contractors and procedures, ensuring they provide service as per SLA agreement.
- Ensure that effective preventative maintenance programs are either in existence and operational or creates and implements programmes. Where outside contractors are used, ensures that such contractors perform to the extent that is listed in the SLAs and that they do all the work necessary to rectify the problem timeously and without needless expense.
- Ensure that proper preventative maintenance schedules and equipment registers are maintained at the unit.
- Liaise daily with Help Desk for client requests that require following up.
- Liaise daily with Senior Facilities Manager / Electrical Engineer.
- Audits / Inspections
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly inspections on site to determine service delivery measured against SLAs.
- Conduct a detailed maintenance audit at least every month.
- Hold documented meetings with Service providers and management.
- Attend meetings with client if required.
- Attend operational meetings.
- Handles IR related issues together with the Mechanical Engineer/Senior Facilities Manager.
- Ensures that regular training needs analyses are conducted for maintenance staff.
- Personally, conducts on-job or off-job training as needs may necessitate.
- Ensures that spare parts and material stocks are maintained at acceptable levels and performs an annual stock take. Always have essential spares in stock.
- Ensures that proper storage and stock control procedures exist at the unit for the issuing and use of spare parts and materials.
- Service Manuals: Co-ordinate the compilation of service manuals for the unit equipment where these do not exist and maintains the accuracy of As Installed information (drawings, etc.).
- Quality Standards: Ensure quality systems of the SLA are implemented and monitored on an ongoing basis. Ensure that you are familiar with the penalty regime of the SLA from the client and that of the contractor.
- Variation Documentation: Ensure all variations (change management) which affect the SLA and TFS services are implemented in accordance with the contractual requirements.
- Document Library: Ensure that a document library is maintained and updated onsite in accordance with the SLA.
- Integrated Management System: Assist with and monitor effective and ongoing successful "roll out" of the IMS.
- Identify and implement optimised improvements on an ongoing basis.
- Identify areas for improvement including but not limited to development of multi-skilling opportunities between service providers.
- Provide technical and logistical support as required.
- Assist as and where required in the event of strikes, breakdowns or other such emergencies
- Standards Adhere to the TFSs Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management Systems Policies & Procedures of as applicable to this position.

- Qualified Artisan Electrical or Millwright
- N4 or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years industry experience
- Minimum one (1) years Management experience in a similar environment
