Farm mechanic / Maintenance manager is required for a farm located just outside of Sedgefield, Western Cape.
Job requirements:
- Must have good experience working on agricultural machinery as well as diesel and petrol vehicles. e.g: Tractors, Lawn equipment (Sod cutters, lawn mowers, "Bossiekappers", etc), Bakkies, Cars Cement mixers Graders Trailers etc.
- Must have very good fabrication skills i.e: Designing and building trailers, fertilizer spreaders, building up tractors.
- Please do not apply for this position if you are not very good at fabrication.
- Must be a hands-on individual with energy who works quickly and effectively.
- Must be self motivated to get a list of jobs done.
- Must be willing to work overtime on occasions where machinery has broken down and needs to be fixed in order to be used at the start of the next day.
- Applicant must have their own transport if travelling from out of town every day.
- No time wasters please.
- Please do not apply if you do not have sufficient experience with farm machinery.
- Normal auto mechanic experience is not what we need.
