Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules, and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and provide timely solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment.
- Manage the maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Source and manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers for specialized maintenance services and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment maintenance history, and inventory.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting skill development and team collaboration.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work that minimizes disruption to operations.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Food Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of meat, fish, poultry, bakery, and dairy production processes.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in facility maintenance.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional, Certified Facility Manager) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment.
- Experience with maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost control.
