A self-motivated, hardworking and experienced fitter and turner, maintenance superintendent who is consistently working to the highest professional standards to deliver duties and projects.
Job requirements:
- Effective performance and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, even under significant pressure
- Excellent communication skills and interacts with people all levels of the organisation
- Comfortable in reading and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Proficient in a variety of mechanical fitting techniques
- Excellent working knowledge of assembling, disassembling and testing complex mechanical systems, for example gearboxes, pumps, compressors, valves, turbines
- Fault findings
- Knowledge with eccentric press machines
- Mine hoists up to 200hp
- Machining, milling, grinding, drilling, turning
- Repairs of drive motion transmission- belt, gear, chain, fluid drives
- Boiler mountings and auxiliaries
- Basic welding
- Safety procedures
- Site preparation
