My client a Reputable 4* Hotel in East London is recruiting for 1 x Male Hotel Duty Manager,
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Hotel/Hospitality industry,
be well-spoken and well-groomed, with a Clean and Valid Driver's license.

• Experience in various departments of a hotel

• Good sense of urgency
• Highest standards of ethical conduct i.e. honesty and integrity
• Clear criminal record
• Valid driver's licence and own transport essential
Duties include the following, but not limited to:
• Management of hotel and other facilities in the absence of Senior management whilst on shift (6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm/upon closure of Bar)
• Staff Training, Development and Motivation
• Ensure that guest satisfaction is established and maintained and guest queries are dealt with efficiently
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested by Management
• Oversee all areas within the hotel, to ensure service standards are maintained
• Ensure delivery of consistent quality customer experience in all food and beverage outlets in the hotel, including banqueting/business functions
• Control of all costs and stock to ensure hotel profitability
• Responsible for high standards of health & safety, hygiene and customer service
• Contribute to initiatives, to develop business, improve staff skills and guest satisfaction
• Must have very good overall knowledge of the workings of the hotel industry from front office to food and beverage
Requirements:
• Matric
• Hotel Diploma and/ or equivalent advantageous
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the Hotel Industry
Salary: Market related
