Management Accountant

Area: Sandton, Gauteng

Salary: R30000 p/m plus medical aid, provident fund

Purpose of the position: To partner with and provide financial support and insight to senior stakeholders within the organisation.

Key Performance Area

Accounts

Assist with the general ledger and books to trial balance including balance sheet reconciliations

Train Finance Administrators/interns when required

Complete VAT processing for all group companies and submit to SARS

Income analysis (actual vs forecast) and submit revenue forecast

Prepare the budgeted costs for the company and each division

Assist with the Revenue budget

Deliver the age analysis to the Account Executives bi-monthly

Complete all Forex payments

Review Finance Administrators payments

Reporting

Create and deliver divisional management accounts monthly

Deliver monthly business and trend analyses (management reports)

Implement financial controls based on overall company guidelines and procedures

Assist with a Finance calendar for deliverables

Manage Travel & Entertainment expenditure

Relationship Management

Work effectively with the Finance team and all employees

Contribute to internal projects and work with project teams

BEE Management

Produce and upload a monthly Preferential Procurement report to the BEE123 system

Upload content for other pillars of BEE into the BEE123 system

Provide and training on the BEE123 system to contributors

Projects

Work on special projects that relate to Finance

Guide other contributors on budgeting

Continuously evaluate procedures for improvements

Work with the external Audit team to provide supporting documents

Produce an annual draft 5-year forecast for the business

Operational: This role will ensure that statutory requirements are met and the financial results enable appropriate business decisions to be made.

Strategic: The strategic impact of this role is to ensure the financial information is available to leadership to enable decisions that grow the business and build the companys reputation in the market.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience

Finance degree

4 years relevant experience

Computer Literate

Good MS Excel skills
