Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the logistics provider (warehouse and courier) to track shipments, forecasts, delays and invoicing, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
- Monitor and analyse production forecasts to identify any discrepancies or issues that may impact the supply chain.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve supply chain-related challenges promptly.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including variance analysis against budgets.
- Manage expense allocations in the trial balance, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for processing by the shared service team.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Financial Manager.
- Calculate rebates and recoveries based on contractual agreements and financial data.
- Monitor and reconcile rebate accounts, ensuring accuracy in revenue and expense recognition.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing reliable financial information.
- Ensure compliance with Customs and other regulatory requirements.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CIMA certification is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant (5+ years) , preferably in the food industry or a similar supply chain-focused role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations and their impact on financial performance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis and reporting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
