Value Management Officer

Conduct comprehensive investment analyses of potential IT investments to forecast expected ROI.

Evaluate historical performance of past IT investments to assess their ROI and identify trends.

Support VP in implementing strategies to optimize the ROI of ongoing IT investments and initiatives.

Support VP by ensuring that IT investments/projects are aligned to the strategic goals and efficient resource utilization.

Develop and maintain ROI metrics and dashboards to track the financial performance of projects IT investments.

Regularly review and report on ROI outcomes to VP, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Evaluate the value propositions of various IT investments to ensure they align with organisational goals and deliver expected benefits.

Support the VP in creating and implementing strategies to enhance value across different areas, considering both financial and non-financial factors.

Analyse the costs and benefits of different initiatives to determine their potential value and impact on the organisation.

Conduct reviews and audits to assess whether projects and programs are on track to deliver their anticipated value and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Provide high-quality support to the VP, including managing appointments, preparing reports, and facilitating communication.

Assist in the preparation of detailed reports on value optimization initiatives, progress, and outcomes for the VPs review.

Develop and format presentations for executive meetings and strategy sessions, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Monitor and track key milestones and deadlines for value optimization projects and initiatives.

Identifying opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial. resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing and in-house development.

Keeping abreast with current trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies in order to improve IT investments and ensuring they add value to the overall GIT.

Assist in overseeing the project and programme portfolio with a focus on maximizing value.

The VMO helps identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and make data-driven decisions about where to invest a portfolios resources.

Provide visibility into the progress of portfolio streams, strategic themes, and value stream KPIs, creating transparency across the portfolio and enterprise.
