Management Trainer

  • What is the job:
To manage the operations of the Training department, supplying effective training solutions and programs to employees to fulfil their roles and responsibilities. Overall responsibility for initiating and implementing training programs for optimal restaurant performance and management training and development
  • What will be expected of you?
2.1 Identify Performance Opportunities
  • Analyze areas for improvement.
  • Arrange specific training and workshops.
  • Track progress on action plans.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and Master Classes.
2.2 Capability Audits and Assessments
  • Implement Master Classes for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all training is executed and tracked.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and scheduling assessments.
  • Implement and track SIA projects.
  • Ensure sales and transaction targets are met.
  • Enhance customer experience through feedback analysis and sessions.
  • Ensure compliance and address deviations with coaching.
  • Review monthly P&L and create improvement plans.
  • Improve e-commerce performance with workshops.
2.3Capability Coordination and Execution
  • Develop management training for LAR 1 and LAR 2.
  • Assess and monitor promotions implementation.
  • Guide management on national rollouts and training.
  • Facilitate training workshops for Developing Champions.
  • Manage BU Training Room and ensure OHS certification.
  • Participate in orientation and recruitment days.
2.4Trainee Progress Tracking
  • Coordinate and report trainee progress weekly.
  • Provide feedback to coaches and managers.
  • Suggest improvements for Master Classes and workshops.
2.5Management Training and Development
  • Ensure bench planning for restaurant management.
  • Assist with development assessments.
  • Onboard and coach Training RGMs.
  • Develop in-store capability with management.
2.6Developing Champions and Learning Technologies
  • Manage functional training for management.
  • Report on trainee progress and assessments.
  • Facilitate development record sign-offs.
  • Drive learning technologies and monitor outcomes.
  • Are you qualified?
  • Bachelors Degree (HR, Industrial Psychology, Social Sciences, Employee Relations, Learning & Development)
  • Valid South African ID
  • No criminal record
  • Computer literate knowledge of specific software
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to lead a team
  • Did you do this before?
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience with a tertiary qualification (degree/ diploma) in a similar/ training role if you are an external applicant
  • If you are an inside applicant: Restaurant General Manager / Area Coach/ Trainer experience with a tertiary qualification (degree/ diploma) if you are an internal KFC candidate
