MacDonald’s Transport and Warehousing, a well-established fast growing group of companies, with an equal opportunity policy, has the following vacancy in Durban: Manager Admin & Warehouse
Qualification:
Requirement is a Financial Degree (B.Com/Internal Audit) with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position. Computer literate in Microsoft Package will be essential. Candidate must be dynamic, friendly and service orientated with strong managerial and organising skills.
Key Accountabilities:
- Auditing - Conducting ad-hoc audits to ensure the clerks are performing the admin functions correctly
- DEBTORS - Submit invoicing info to Head Office
- Run stock loss/damages reports monthly where 3rd parties are liable
- Ensure adequate administrative controls and systems are in place at the site
- Manage the site administrative team, including staff recruitment and performance review of such employees
- Production and control of administrative reports
- Monthly reporting to tight deadlines
- Preparing monthly site performance, annual budget and quarterly forecast reports incorporating both financial and non-financial information
- Administrative control of site and processes within area of responsibility
- Preparation of management reports for the site
- Provide administrative analysis for tender processes as required
- Pull all loading documentation in disputes and assess
- Creditors - Checking invoices to schedules
- Capture / authorize and receipt purchase orders on system
- Producing weekly results vs. the budget and latest estimates
- Compile Ledger Recons on a monthly basis and ensure accuracy
- Stationary stock levels and ordering
- Responsible for Petty Cash
- Compile budgets when required as well as latest estimates when required
