Job Purpose
The Communication and Events Manager for our new CDR division is pivotal in fostering positive client relationships, enhancing communication strategies, and orchestrating impactful events. This position is dedicated to ensuring our clients a seamless and engaging experience throughout the debt management process, primarily focusing on effective communication and strategic event planning.
Job Responsibilities
- Client Communication Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to keep clients informed about debt management processes, policies, and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging aligns with the division's objectives and maintains transparency.
- Client Experience Enhancement:
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall client experience during debt management, implementing initiatives that demonstrate empathy and understanding.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, collecting feedback and driving continuous process improvement.
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute events tailored to engage clients, fostering a sense of community and support.
- Coordinate logistics, manage budgets, and collaborate with external vendors to ensure successful event outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Client Collections and Debt Management teams to align communication strategies with business goals and client expectations.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Public Relations, and Customer Service teams to maintain a cohesive brand image and consistent messaging.
Compliance And Risk Management
- Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring all communication materials and events adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and event outcomes.
- Provide regular reports to management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging client communication and event management best practices.
- Continuously enhance personal and professional development to bring innovative ideas to the division.
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Post Graduate Diploma: Marketing Management
Minimum Experience Level
- Relevant degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in communication strategy development and event planning.
- Familiarity with debt management processes and client-centric initiatives.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
- More than 5 years working experience and relevant industry experience.
