We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Group Resourcing Specialist to join our team in Cape Town.
Purpose of Job
The Manager Group Resourcing is responsible for supporting the JTC Group across multiple jurisdictions by providing a resourcing service to employees, managers and future employees.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide a resourcing service across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring awareness of legislative and immigration requirements and ensuring all resourcing is undertaken in line with best practice, policies and regulations.
- Promote JTC as an international employer of choice with strong brand recognition across all sourcing channels both internally and externally e.g., the promotion of Gateway and internal vacancy updates, have a strong presence on relevant social media platforms, employee referrals, third party job boards or agencies and own network.
- Maximise the use of technology in resourcing activities, use the People@JTC system to its fullest functionality to improve workflows, maximise the use of social media platforms including LinkedIn and multi-jurisdictional interviews via VC.
- Liaise with HR colleagues and hiring managers to ensure the overall resourcing approach is cohesive and fairly applied across all divisions and jurisdiction. Work with the HR BPs and hiring managers to identify resourcing needs and provide a timely response and service.
- Manage all JTC Gateway applications, promoting the mobility offering across the Group, and coordinating relocation offers, relevant work permit and visa applications.
- Undertake HR interviews for all candidates joining JTC and provide constructive insight and feedback to hiring managers and candidates.
- Consider the impact of resourcing and recruitment costs and seek efficiencies where practical, highlighting opportunities for efficiencies to hiring managers and/or HR colleagues.
- Work with the L&D team to design and deliver Recruitment & Selection training (including managing the JTC Way, coaching individuals, introducing new or improved processes to the line) and work with Hiring Managers to develop and support their Resourcing skills.
- Produce and review job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect the content of roles being recruited and maintain data base of job descriptions.
- Responsible for the full Resourcing life cycle from approval for recruitment through to sourcing, assessment, offer, contractual and on boarding up to end of probation including meeting new starters for feedback, ensuring communication is managed appropriately.
- Review documentation pertaining to resourcing matters (up to but not including end of probation) and ensure check lists, four eye checks and accuracy is maintained. This may include but is not limited to; RFs, job adverts, recruitment invoices, offer letters, contracts, handbooks, on boarding information etc.
- Extrapolate data and contribute metrics and narrative content for reports and resourcing statistics.
- Treat all HR data in line with GDPR and maintain awareness of GDPR. When asked for data be able to format data and deliver usable data that is GDPR compliant.
- Provide support during projects and acquisitions. This may include data collation, producing documents as requested and assisting with the on boarding of acquired employees.
- Actively contribute and be a key member of a multi-jurisdictional HR team building effective working relationships to ensure procedures are accurately followed, allowing for continuity of service during busy periods or times of absence.
- Uphold the professional standards expected of an HR practitioner and act as a role model of excellence with all clients, internally and externally.
- Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality and security in terms of employee data and business information and consider the impact of GDPR on all activities undertaken.
- Maintain accuracy when handling data and ensure that the integrity of processes is maintained. Follow four eye check protocol and fully complete check lists as required, including providing assistance to other HR colleagues who need support with four eye checks.
- Contribute to the wider HR team, supporting ad hoc projects, exchanging knowledge and supporting standards of good practice.
- Developing self and maintaining knowledge in relevant field at all times.
- Consistently demonstrate JTC core values and expected behaviours.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary.
- Relevant HR qualification
- 5+ years of high volume recruiting experience, preferably for a high-growth organisation
- Data management and metrics (e.g. trend analysis) experience
- Good working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and relevant legislation as applicable to recruitment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in financial services an advantage
