Amazon is hiring a Manager to improve the experience for our customers.
This role will allow you to work across various internal and external teams to evaluate the customer landscapes, and invent innovative approaches to solve ambiguous problems. The successful candidate will lead a team of account managers focused on general account management, and targeted campaign creation. The ideal candidate brings rich industry experience, strong people leadership, a relentless focus on the customer, and a big vision.
Key job responsibilities
- Analyze opportunities, develop and implement account management strategies
- Train and coach sales team to identify, qualify, and engage with Partners while creating a clear value proposition of selling to business customers on Amazon, along with the features and functionality
- Build a strong team of Sales, Account Management and Integration talent
- Build strong communication channels at all levels of the Partners organization, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications
- Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the partners. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity
- Participate in periodic business reviews with Amazon Leadership

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with a blend of Sales, technical, business and product and/or program management roles
- Experience in people management (min. 5 years of team management experience)
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Management, Engineering or related degree required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts simply
- Ability to interact at C-level with medium to large and multinational companies
- Experience leading diverse organizations and functions to deliver consistent results
- Strong analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer (buying and selling) needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving and changing environment
- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
