Manager - Retail Strategy (Consulting)

You Are: A Strategy Consulting maestro with tons of experience in the retail industry, and leadership and management skills to spare. You have expertise in advising clients on retail strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You have energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning. You have a flair for breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing crystal-clear reasoning and analysesan aptitude you use to decimate problems. You have both in strong communication and people skills, and as a manager youre a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams.

The Work:

  • Identifying Opportunities: Gather, synthesize, visualize and analyze client information utilizing research, interviews, workshops and analytic tools


  • Defining Client Needs: Identify and articulate business requirements so that we and the client understand and agree on what needs to change to take advantage of the opportunities


  • Driving Insights: Drive strategic insights and actionable implications, determining the most practical way to drive lasting results for our clients


  • Designing the Future: Work with the client to design new business processes, technology requirements, and the plan for how we bring these changes to life


  • Building Capabilities: Help clients build the capabilities they need for growth, innovation and sustainable high performance


  • Guiding our Clients: Define the impact of the changes and the steps we will take to help the leaders, employees, customers and others adapt quickly to the new way of doing things.


  • Managing Teams: Manage junior members of the Consulting team and groom them for more responsibility


  • A minimum of 6+ years of consulting experience at a consulting firm, non-negotiable


  • A minimum of 4 years of Retail, Consumer Goods or Supply Chain experience


  • A Bachelors degree is required, Masters degree is preferred
