Managing Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Director to oversee the critical business pillars of Construction and Procurement, Design Engineering, Sales, and Financial Administration. The ideal candidate should possess a strong engineering background in Civil or Electrical discipline, with the added advantage of holding an MBA. Alternatively, candidates with a Senior Project Manager background and an MBA will also be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams within the four business pillars to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of business goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Technical Understanding and Decision Making:

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of engineering principles to make informed decisions related to Design Engineering and Construction and Procurement.
• Address technical challenges and ensure projects are executed with the highest level of quality and adherence to industry standards.

Business Acumen:

• Apply strong business acumen to oversee Sales and Financial Administration activities, aligning them with overall business objectives.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Project Management:

• Utilize extensive project management experience to oversee projects within the Construction and Engineering division.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring successful project execution.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Facilitate clear communication between different business pillars, ensuring alignment and effective coordination.
• Communicate project updates and business performance to stakeholders at various levels.

Problem-Solving and Decision Making:

• Proactively identify challenges across all pillars and implement solutions to overcome them.
• Make well-informed decisions that balance technical, financial, and operational considerations.

Strategic Alignment:

• Align activities within all four pillars with the overarching strategic goals of the company.
• Develop and execute strategies that contribute to the growth and profitability of the business unit.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering is required; MBA is a potential advantage.
• Alternatively, candidates with a Senior Project Manager background and an MBA will also be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management, construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent technical understanding of engineering principles and construction processes.
