- The purpose of this role is to collect and propose credit applications for hire purchases of agricultural equipment to expand the debtors book.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BCom or other financial training.
- 10 years of experience in agricultural equipment financing.
- Proven experience in handling hire purchase agreements and credit applications.
- SAP experience will be advantageous.
New Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and engage with potential clients.
- Present AFGRIs financing options and cross-sell additional services.
- Capture and evaluate credit applications in compliance with credit policies.
- Arrange security where required and submit proposals to the credit department.
- Ensure thorough documentation and timely application processing.
- Address client queries regarding HP accounts and liaise with relevant departments.
- Monitor arrears accounts and compile reports.
- Maintain compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Attend and present at farmers days and study groups.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive cross-selling opportunities
- Ability to analyse financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office, SAP).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Analytical ability with attention to detail.
