Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute marketing plans aligned with company goals and target audience.
- Plan, execute, and analyse multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Collaborating closely with Development, Project Management, Design & User Experience, Account Management, and cross-functional teams to gather insights and align content initiatives within the platform's strategic goals.
- Oversee the design team responsible for creating visuals and creative assets for marketing campaigns.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximise ROI.
- Organise and participate in promotional activities, including events and trade shows.
- Provide regular reports and presentations to the senior management team, detailing the progress of marketing initiatives and achieving set targets.
- Sebenza, as a content aggregator, would require this role to manage relationships with content clients and producers and effectively address their needs.
- Curate and review content submissions for quality and relevance.
- Develop and implement strategies for content curation, staying current with industry trends and Kasi pop culture to provide users with captivating experiences.
- To optimise user engagement and satisfaction, maintain a thorough understanding of the platforms content ecosystem, including micro-apps and content delivery methods.
- Monitor content performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement based on user engagement and feedback.
- Facilitate and organise events and other promotional activities to promote the company and its products/services.
- Collaborate with the Account Management team to tailor content offerings to clients' objectives and preferences.
- Identify media opportunities, pitch advertorial ideas, and manage public relations efforts to enhance the brand's reputation and reach within the industry.
- Craft compelling narratives that convey the company's message effectively.
- Act as a point of contact for content-related inquiries from internal teams and external partners.
- Stay updated on digital media and content management technologies, suggesting innovative strategies.
- Utilise marketing analytics for data-driven decision-making in content strategies.
- Conduct in-depth research on the public transport sector in South Africa to create relevant content.
- Manage the website content and optimize user experience and SEO.

- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Social Media, or Digital Marketing.
