Marketing Assistant

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns
• Write and edit content for different platforms such as social media, website, and press releases
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements
• Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral
• Help organize and coordinate marketing events
• Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs and competitions
• Liaising with the Design Team during the ad creation process (i.e. request artwork from various brands on new seasons and season launches)
• Ensure creative is briefed following the commercial plan and campaigns when relevant
• Update channel reporting
• Assist the Marketing Team with adhoc marketing tasks
• Assist with customer feedback surveys and community management

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Grade 12 (Senior Certificate high school qualification)
• Degree/diploma in Marketing or equivalent
• Experience in copywriting is essential
• 1 year's digital marketing experience highly advantageous
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tactics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
