As a Marketing Associate supporting strategic products of Vision Care Business., you will be trusted to work on developing and executing marketing plans in Midrand-Gauteng.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Supporting the profitability of the Vision Care portfolio to optimize profitability, as well as the implementation of short and medium term product strategies, cascaded by the Sales & Marketing Manager
- Responsible for managing the profitability, growth, and marketing of the Alcon Portfolios
- Responsible for driving customer relationship management for the entire Vision Care Portfolio
- Responsible for preparing the brand overview, together with the Sales and Marketing Manager, through the use of Aspire
- EASY Online development and implementation
- Full Control of A&P Budget management; tracking and reporting. Assist the Sales and Marketing Manager with PO creation, budget tracking, and budget accruals on a monthly basis
- Briefing in artwork to creative agencies
- Loading of all promotional material onto VEEVA for internal approval
- Collation of the marketing tracker, which the Marketing Manager will use to develop distribution and promo-tional insights
- Assistance with planning all Vision Care internal and external meetings, conferences, and product launches
- Manage all POS material printing with external suppliers
- Manage distribution of all marketing POS materials to the relevant companies and Sales Representatives
- Management of all social media competitions to ensure that all prizes are packed for the relevant winners
- Working with creative agency to develop monthly Social media content
- Assist with the development of all marketing content required for Pitcher (Sales Force tool)
- Assist with the development and implementation of My Alcon website
- Assist Sales and Marketing Manager with any ad hoc queries regarding marketing activities
- Manage the Key Account tracker to ensure that all marketing material is dispatched in a timely manner
- University degree or equivalent in Science (Optometry preferred), Marketing or Business qualification
- 3 years minimum experience
- Business acumen, managing & measuring work, planning, priority setting
