Marketing Director

The Digital Marketing Manager will be also be accountable for determining KPIs and digital marketing campaign targets.Responsibilities:

  • Manage current digital activity against key performance metrics, defining goals for each channel and finding innovative ways of reporting back to the business including email, PPC, display and social channels
  • Create the SEM strategy, to increase organic traffic and create a link building strategy. Ensuring technical optimisation and content outreach are aligned and on brand.
  • Develop the online lead generation plan, ensuring commercial focus and developing transparent reporting to assess the success of the activity.
  • Create and deliver a social media strategy aligned to digital, PR and marcoms activity. Responsible for the creation and implementation of the social media policy.
  • Establish and maintain the reporting analysis for online activity, making data driven recommendations.
  • Work with departmental managers and directors to develop marketing plans and strategies
  • Effectively manage digital marketing platforms including the cooperate website, social media and microsites
  • Reviewing and developing the brand strategy to ensure that the company image is consistently and successfully promoted.
  • Development and execution the digital marketing strategy across the group to achieve digital marketing objectives.

  • Previous digital marketing experience and entrepreneurial / commercially minded approac
  • Experience with Photoshop and InDesign (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent analytical talents
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Eye for detail
  • Excellent organisation
  • Knowledge of SEO

Essential skills:

  • Educated to degree level in marketing, business or a related subject
  • Significant experience in a similar digital marketing role
  • Strong marketing experience, particularly within digital and content management
  • Experience delivering and monitoring digital marketing campaigns
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • The ability to communicate with internal and external management
  • Experience evaluating marketing strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Strong experience within a Business to Consumer environment.
  • Planning and executing social media, email and SEO / SEM marketing campaigns
  • Assisting creating a digital marketing strategy
  • Measuring and reporting performance
  • Creating an SEO strategy based on analytical data
  • Managing the company website
  • Researching websites, social media, articles and publications
  • Building and maintaining a social media presence
  • Planning innovative growth strategies
  • Keeping up-to-date with online marketing trends


The role is a Permanent Full Time Role- Mon-Fri covering 40 hours 
R25-30k wage
