You will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy and execution across the region, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer for Africa.
The primary focus of this position is to lead the conceptualisation, planning, and creative execution of all marketing campaigns across franchise stores, including digital and field marketing initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you will possess a postgraduate qualification, preferably an MBA, along with a Marketing Degree. You will have a minimum of 12-15 years of business experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior marketing role.
Experience across multiple African markets is essential, particularly within the retail or franchise sectors.
You must demonstrate a strong track record in strategic planning, branding, advertising, sales promotion, and product development. A proven ability to lead product development initiatives and generate consumer insights is highly desirable.
The role requires a professional who excels in building relationships within the franchise market, with strength in digital marketing campaigns, including website management, billboards, and TV advertising. A balance of conceptual thinking, analytical ability, and commercial acumen is essential, along with a flair for creative development and aesthetic guidance.
The key responsibilities include leading the strategy for new markets in Africa, coaching and developing the marketing team, and contributing to the annual operating plan to ensure the successful delivery of marketing and campaign objectives.
