Marketing Demand Generation Lead

Our client is an innovative platform helping some of the worlds largest brands bring to life their culture and people through authentic employee stories. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a strategic and hands-on marketing leader to join their team as the first full-time marketing hire. This role is pivotal in laying the foundation for their marketing efforts, working closely with sales and the founding team to drive new leads and move prospects through the funnel.

As the Marketing Demand Generation Lead, you will spearhead their demand generation efforts and play a critical role in shaping their marketing strategy. Youll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns that generate leads, nurture prospects, and ultimately drive revenue growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and scale the marketing function from the ground up with a company that already has strong credibility in its market.

Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home) - 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demand Generation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy that aligns with our business goals. This includes identifying target audiences, creating buyer personas, and selecting the most effective channels and tactics.
  • Lead Generation: Design and implement inbound and outbound marketing campaigns to generate high-quality leads. Utilize content marketing, email marketing, social media, and other channels to attract and engage potential customers.
  • Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and the sales cycle. Provide the sales team with high-quality leads and support lead nurturing efforts.
  • Content Creation: Help create high-impact content, such as whitepapers, case studies, product overviews, and blog posts, that resonate with their target audience and establish their brand as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Social Media: Develop and manage the social media calendar, creating social posts, including written copy and short videos, across all platforms, but with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
  • Testing & Optimization: Continuously test and optimize campaigns to improve performance. Analyze key metrics such as conversion rates, MQLs, SQLs, and ROI to inform and adjust strategies.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or a related role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in generating and nurturing leads through various marketing channels.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to align marketing and sales efforts.
  • Hands-on experience with creating content for various campaigns across channels.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret key performance metrics.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to experiment, fail fast, and iterate quickly.
  • Native fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
