Key Job Purpose
From a marketing perspective the responsible individual manages the long-term marketing strategy and operational marketing activities of the associated portfolio to deliver the financial results and other business metrics for the associated subsidiary companies and their product ranges
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of multiple projects / work streams to achieve overall project objectives in terms of scope (quality), time, and cost standards.
- Hold a forward-looking view on market trends on core & adjacent markets (megatrends market dynamics competition customer & channel partners) to build growth-enabling strategic plans.
- In close collaboration with subsidiaries marketing, sales, regulatory and supply teams, build a growth-enabling strategic plan encompassing

- Competitor Review
- Portfolio gap analysis & New product launch plans
- Go to market and distribution channel strategies
- Portfolio and Brand positioning relative to competitors
- Differentiated promotional messages relative to our competitors
- Media, promotion and communication plan and tactics
- Sales team support assets
- Pricing recommendation
- Define and quantify potential future growth drivers
- Define, brief, and implement the activation tactics to deliver the strategic imperatives in the market
- Develop, track, monitor and communicate the marketing and supporting KPI's
- Steer short- and long-term operational plans in the [URL Removed] responsible of preparing new launch business cases and leading all project teamwork streams to launch innovations (supply readiness product positioning activation campaign volume, price, and financial assumptions.
- Prepare, track, and communicate the detailed Marketing advertising and promotional budget.
- Prepare, monitor, and communicate the short- and long-term volume, price, and value forecasts. Working very closely with the sales, finance, and supply business partners to achieve the targets, proactively building mitigation measures when necessary (price stock allocation)
- Brief, lead and manage the requests of media, advertising, and promotional agencies.
- Launch, when necessary, the need market research (focus groups, desk research, quant work, agency liaison)
- Analyze business performance (volume, value, opex, stock on hand, pricing) and develop corrective plans to mitigate shortfalls
- Build partnerships, relationships & teamwork (internal & external):
- With both internal and external members of the extended brand team involved in the marketing strategy.
- Establish & maintain effective communication with relevant subsidiaries & regional marketing team
- Establish & maintain effective communication with commercial teams and key stakeholders.
- Develop ongoing liaison with thought leaders, professional societies, and other organizations to ensure significant developments in the relevant fields are identified and monitored and to gain knowledge of customer needs and develop strategies that are customer centric.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations and attending key conferences and events. Ensure that all activities are in accordance with company compliance standards.
- Minimum 3-year undergraduate degree or diploma.
- Preferable: Communication or Marketing focused.
- Minimum of 3 years-experience in Marketing or Communication, ideally specialising in Social Media and Digital platforms.
- Prior marketing experience in a variety of industries is preferred.)
