Business Analyst

A well-established meat processor is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to analyse data, create reports, and develop BI solutions by working closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, with the aim to support business objectives.

Minimum Requirements For The Role

• Must have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the fields of data analysis, report creation, and Bl tools will be required
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis will be highly beneficial
• Must be proficiency in SGL Server scripting and database management
• Must have an understanding of Python coding and experience using Visual Studio for development will be advantageous
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Bl tools such as Jet Reports, Power Bl and Excel.
• Writing and optimising SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from SGL Server databases.
• Utilising Python coding skills within Visual Studio to automate processes, perform data analyses, and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirement and translate it into actionable insights.
• Conducting data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
• Applying accounting principles and financial analysis techniques to interpret data and provide valuable insights.
