The practice needs a competent, qualified person with at least 3 years of medical reception /administrative experience to ensure the smooth running of the Reception Desk. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, and in a team and have a strong sense of responsibility.
Job Description
- Program Management - Book online appointments for all practitioners for new and existing clients
- Handle patient/client inquiries by phone, WhatsApp and email
- Payment receipts EFT, credit card or cash
- Manage new intakes - open and prepare files
- Write medical reports and referral letters
- Assist psychologists with potential questions/tasks
- Filing
- Additional administrative and accounts-related functions
- General housekeeping ensure that the practice and reception area is always clean
- Ensure that the stationery, office supplies and equipment are in order
- Self-starter
- Good command of English - written and spoken
- Adequate computer skills - Excel, Outlook, Word and any medical software. (Elixir would be an advantage)
- Ability to handle a fast-paced pressured environment
- Good prioritisation and multi-tasking
- Committed to work with a "can do it" attitude
Working Hours
Tuesday, Friday 08:00-17:00 (1-hour lunch)
Wednesday and Thursday 10:30-19:30 (1-hour lunch)
Every Saturday 08:00-17: 00 (without lunch) - subject to appointment bookings
Days off - Sunday and Monday
Public holidays, to work on an adhoc basis
Must be available during times of emergencies and for any other reason for telephonic check-ins.
