Main Job Tasks And Responsibilities
- Preparing quotes as per instructions received
- Prepare necessary paperwork (either via email or physical file)
- Complete applications
- Scan and save compliance documents
- Submit applications after it has been checked
- Submit additional requirements where applicable
- Update portfolio
- Updating Relevant Registers
- General servicing
- Obtain tax certificates, travel certificates, member certificates, and information regarding unpaid debts
- Advice on which product/option is suitable according to our client's needs (Comparisons)
- Any changes to the membership additions or cancellation of dependents or plan changes
- Upon member's request, an annual review will be conducted and discussed if need be
- Provision and assisting with Chronic application forms
- Advice on Chronic or Prescribed Minimum Benefit conditions
- Assisting with reward programs like e.g. Vitality and Multiply
- Preparing Gap to cover new business proposals, necessary paperwork, and compliance documentation as well as provide ongoing advice and assistance with Gap cover claims
- Grade 12-qualification
- Relevant Qualification (Minimum NQF 5 preferably in financial planning, wealth management or alike)
- RE5 Regulatory Examination for representatives
- Be fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
- Computer skills and knowledge (especially of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet)
- Knowledge of the operation of standard office equipment
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems, such as filing and proper record keeping
- Knowledge of principles and practices of essential office/administrative management
- Specialist knowledge of medical aid plans, benefits, and products
- In-depth understanding of Employee Benefit Schemes
- Ability to work under pressure in a calm and collective manner
- Effective communication skills Listen and communicate instructions in a clear and simple manner; this relates to verbal as well as written communication
