Our client a paediatrician is seeking to recruit a full time medical receptionist for a new opening practice in Bryanston, Gauteng.
Given the sensitivity of this role, the candidate needs to be empathetic, kind and patient centred person.
Requirements:
- Welcoming of patients to the practice
- Schedule appointments and follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate records and patient files
- Show empathy towards patients and anticipate patients' anxieties
- Efficient filing and retrieving of patient records
- Maintain practice inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
- Typing reports, feedback letters, letters of motivation etc
- Obtaining authorisations
- General administration and personal assistant tasks
- English and preferable in Afrikaans
- Matric
- At least 3 years experience in a similar medical receptionist position
- Medical software experience
- Microsoft office suite experience and computer literate
- Own transport is essential
- Excellent telephonic communication skills

Monday to Friday from 08h00 17h00 with occasional weekends as and when required
