Our client, a Nephrologist based in Cape Town, is seeking to recruit an experienced medical receptionist.
Requirements:
- Diary and appointment management
- General administrative and PA duties (Flight arrangements ect.)
- Answering incoming calls
- Cash and credit card payment and receipting
- Billing knowledge
- Stock control and ordering of stock
- Creating patient files
- Ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the practice
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- General administration
- Maintain efficient patient service
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information
- Assist in any marketing initiatives or requirements
- Matric
- GoodX software knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

- Computer literacy and high attention to detail
