In particular, the Social and Ethics Committee is mandated to: Assist EXCO in building and sustaining an ethical and social corporate culture in the FSCA and ensure that the ethical standards are clearly articulated and integrated into the entitys strategies and operations.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified and experienced members of the public to serve on the FSCAs Social and Ethics Committee. The term of office for appointed Committee Members will be five years, effective from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2028.

Essential requirements
- Relevant knowledge and experience in corporate governance, at an executive level.
- Knowledge and understanding of and exposure to relevant legislation/policies.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge and experience in integrated reporting.
- Knowledge and experience relating to the review, monitoring and advising on matters of corporate citizenship, ethics, sustainability, social responsibility, employee relations and diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Reasonable understanding of the mandate and objectives of the FSCA.
- Previous experience of social and ethics committees.
- Experience and knowledge of ESG.
- Experience and knowledge of business ethics.
- Experience and knowledge of labour relations.
Remuneration
- The fee structure for performing committee business and attendance of meetings is determined by the FSCAs Executive Committee guided by the Minister of Finance.
