The MI Specialist in the 1st Line Risk department plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of management information systems (MIS) to provide accurate insights into the business's 1st Line functions. Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Lead the continuous development and enhancement of the 1st Line Risk MI process to ensure the delivery of efficient, timely, and precise reporting.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of business processes, identifying data utilization and technology requirements.
- Define and implement an effective strategy for the dissemination of management information to optimize business efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Operations stakeholders to tailor MI reporting to evolving business demands.
- Generate insightful metrics and reports for senior stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making, encompassing regular reporting and ad-hoc data requests.
- Propose, drive, and oversee enhancements to existing solutions, continuously improving production efficiency and technology utilization.
- Establish and maintain governance and control measures in alignment with established standards, ensuring up-to-date documentation and comprehensive tracking of system, report, and document changes.
- Cultivate a data driven culture of transparency and ethical decision-making within the team.
- Establish and manage appropriate governance forums to ensure regular review and alignment of MI systems with their intended purpose.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in modern tools and software, including Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and MS SQL Server Management Suite.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and MIS development.
- Proven ability to innovate processes, enhance control measures, and optimize efficiency at a team management level.

- Extensive experience within the Wealth Management / Platform industry.
