In2Food Strand Site is looking for a qualified intern to join the team. The laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited and looking for a candidate to assist with microbiological testing of food to ensure compliance.
Job responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological testing on food and environmental samples to ensure testing is done according to ISO 17025 requirements
- Prepare microbiological media
- Prepare test reports
- Monitor laboratory quality standards to ensure compliance to the quality management system
- Maintain laboratory facility and assist with maintenance / verification of equipment
- Work according to proper safety protocols and procedures, while ensuring clean and neat environment
Requirements:
- Completed degree with Microbiology as Major
- The internship is for a one year period, starting June 2018
