Microsoft Dynamics ERP Manager (JB1338)
The Microsoft Dynamics ERP Manager will form part of a division responsible for assisting the group develop, execute and support its technology applications strategy in South Africa, South America and Europe.
The ideal candidate would be suitably qualified with a minimum of 2 years functional experience with D365 BC and 5 years functional experience in implementing NAV.
Experience
- 2+ years' functional experience in implementing D365 BC
- 5+ years' functional experience in implementing NAV
- Reasonable D365 BC technical understanding and abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal
- The role requires good understanding of business processes, application development and lifecycle: from discovery, design, development, deployment, and support
- Ability to explain technical concepts to business people in a language they understand, and business requirements to technical people
- Ability to successfully manage and maintain strong relationships with a team and business stakeholders
- Effective planning and organisational skills

Duties:
- Lead and project manage the groups D365 BC implementations and general D365 BC projects
- Develop an excellent understanding of business application landscape, business processes and assist in developing IT roadmap in accordance with the business’s requirements
- Perform business requirements analysis and documentation
- Define the data migration process
- Establish, govern, and manage data entry standards, integrity, and teams across applications
- Maintain and manage relationships and performance of key vendors
- Engage regularly with business stakeholders, building effective relationships that will influence the alignment of the IT strategies, direction, and adoption
- Prioritise, coordinate, and manage business requirements between business, IT, and vendors
- Assist in preparing project scope and develop project plans, including project tasks, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables
- Ensure implementation success and oversee change management process for application development and updates
- Verify User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support the Systems and Enabling Technologies departments strategies and key implementations
- Coordinate process and timing of routine application upgrades, maintenance, and fixes
- Assist general user support, system documentation and training
