A renowned Golf Club is looking for an energetic and innovative, mid-weight Marketing Coordinator with event experience to join their team on-site in Cape Towns southern suburbs.
The successful candidate will be tasked with improving brand awareness for the estate. This will include helping to attract more visitors and providing an efficient communication channel for the homeowners and members alike.
Your own transport is essential to attend club functions in the evening and over weekends.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the companys brand management, improving on the brand image/identity as well as managing the corporate identity.
- Being available and present at Golf Club events after hours and on weekends.
- Getting to know and liaising with Homeowners and Golf Club members as well as with visitors both local and international.
- Developing and driving a marketing strategy aimed at all target markets.
- Coordinating both internal and external marketing and communication.
- Maintain and uplift the PR image of the Estate to clients internally and externally.
- Create and publicise marketing material aligned with the marketing plan.
- Manage and improve lead generation campaigns.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
- Monthly reporting on guest feedback submitted through Google and social media analytics with recommendations for improvement.
- Engage in promotional activities.
- Writing and proof reading of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc newsletters.
- Keeping the website current and back-end editing.
- Updating of databases and using CRM systems such as Mailchimp and WhatsApp.
- Management of campaigns on media channels such as the Website, WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any other trending social media platforms.
- Able to deliver presentations.
- Collateral/Brochure and Sign Creation including graphic design.
- Maintain effective internal communications making sure all relevant departments are kept informed of marketing objectives and any other marketing related tasks as may be required.
- Customer feedback to be responded to within 24 hours or escalated to the relevant department head.
- Approving of branding for events.
- Align branding and marketing with other the four Company stakeholders.
- Video creation and editing for internal communication marketing to homeowners and members.
- Implementing a clear sales and lead generation strategy to grow revenue in the functions, events, food, and beverage industry.
- Be present at club events after hours and on weekends to network with members, visitors, homeowners, major sponsors, and brand partners.
- Coordination of brand, product shoots and advertising campaigns.
- Coordinate all graphic design elements for all marketing and company collateral.
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in a Marketing management role.
- Eventing knowledge - essential
- Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail.
