To ensure the management of all stakeholder relationships on all aspects and areas impacted by the medical scheme. TO be responsible for the leadership and management of the business unit and taking full accountability for the delivery of operational services as required in terms of the contract. Play a key role in the client relationship management.
Manage the execution of the strategy related to the managed care contractual services
Manage the day to day operations in order to meet all scheme deliverables and mitigate financial penalties through optimal operaational management
Explore opportunities for operational efficiencies on an ongoing basis
Maintain capacity management in terms of budget management and the delivery of services to the client
Provide leadership to the business unit's operational plan that is executed through the senior managers and their teams
Oversee staff optimation for the purpose of recruitment fit for purpose, staff development, the work environment as well as quality of work performed
Interface internally with other BU's and support services with a purpose of synergy and project innovation
Participate in the relevant forums internally and externally
Interface externally with the client and SPN to ensure system and process integration
Manage issues and finding olutions to issues relating to every srea of the operations that are escalated
Experience
10 - 12 years operational experience in the healthcare environment at a Senior Level with strong staff management
Relevant Clinical degree or Busines Qualification
Must be able to work in a very prssurised environment
