The company is searching for a dynamic midweight Art Director to work closely with a highly
capable team.
Responsibilities
- Develop an overall visual concept that communicates to a target audience within the scope of the brand and creative brief supplied
- Work cohesively with their team, conceptualizing ideas and designs, formulating artwork, and storyboards based on the client's specifications
- Working closely within their team to develop top quality advertising and promotional campaigns within the parameters of the client brief
- Design and craft concepts into original, relevant and impactful communications;
- Follow through to the completion of the job whilst maintaining explicit attention to detail and adhering to project timelines
- Manage multiple accounts that require working within budgets and scheduling requirements
- Scamping, sketching and storyboarding ideas in order to obtain approval from the Creative Group Head and Client Art Direction of photoshoots, briefing and working with photographers and Production.
- Pitch creative work with confidence
- Minimum of three to five years experience as an Art Director at a reputable Advertising Agency
- Tertiary Qualification in Art Direction, Design, Packaging / Art Theory (or similar) would be ideal
- Conceptual ability and solid design skills with a portfolio that demonstrates this (ideally award winning)
- Mac proficiency (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Must be self-managed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
- Integrity, energy and creativity
- Self-disciplined with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a close knit team environment
