- Install, calibrate, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to enhance the efficiency and automation of production processes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, PLC systems, and related equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to coordinate and prioritize tasks for optimal workflow.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any modifications made to PLC systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and recommend improvements to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.
- Trade Tested Millwright
- Proven experience as a Millwright with a focus on industrial machinery maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and experience with their installation, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to creating a safe work environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
