MILLWRIGHT (ZANDFONTEIN)

The Millwright is responsible for installing, transferring, and repairing equipment and machinery. Responsibilities include using specialized tools to build and repair machines, setting up machinery based on highly technical instructions and blueprints, and occasionally moving machines to different locations. Requirements:

• 3 years post trade experience
• Report all incidents and irregularities to the production manager.
• Build new industrial and/or construction machinery.
• Repair broken or defective machine parts using welding, brazing, electrical, and electronic tools.
• Align equipment using specialized tools (e.g., micrometer, plumb bobs).
• Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment, electrical, and electronic tools.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
