This is a regional role and the MM will be co-developing and implementing the Marketing strategies and planning across all markets and all brands. Working with distributor markets is a great opportunity to develop influencing, strategic, Commercial and Marketing skills. There is a big community to animate, with brand managers in markets both at Moet Hennessy and distributors level.
The Marketing Manager will work with the various AfME General Managers, Market Managers and in market marketing roles, as well as various key functions such as Finance and Supply chain.
Its a great opportunity for a senior Marketeer with experience in the markets to move beyond the day to day and develop their strategic skills; co-leading and supporting the markets in their activation planning, as well as developing Marketing capabilities and creating a collaborative spirit across AfME (including some cross-regional projects). The MM will be adaptable, agile, and not afraid of dealing with more operational skills and being "hands onwhen needed.
Marketing Plan & Programs
- Lead the brand planning process: briefing markets and reviewing template & analysis of plans
- Translate consumer insights into annual communication plans and brand activations that craft exceptional experiences for our consumers.
- Create Marketing and strategic project reporting, including monthly reports, PMT and business reviews.
- Lead research & insight studies to build consumer learnings & strategies
- Lead media planning for all brands in the portfolio across the region.
- Maximize PR amplification for all brands aligned to the comms strategy and quarterly activation plans developed by in market teams and Trade marketing manager
- Develop and execute a pan African influencer strategy to increase consumer touch-points, organic reach and consumer engagement (and track success through social media listening)
- Manage the social media agenda to ensure optimal content and implement digital plans to maximse clear KPI of engagement. Step change social media performance across the region.
- Take leadership of pan regional brand led initiatives such as NBA, Moet Champagne Day etc to maximise consumer experiences across the region
- Work closely with concerned markets to successfully launch new products in the region
- Lead the evaluation of end user consumer responses and direct-to-consumer marketing strategies in collaboration with Marketing team, Market Managers & General Managers
- Support Marketing Director and Market teams for Maison guidelines / assets, trainings, POSM
- Support logistics of key cross-regional events, in collaboration with markets
- In charge of Creative Business Solutions (POSM) & VAPs strategic review
- Support Digital Manager (and E-Retail Manager) in delivering campaigns
- Co-animate the Marketing community with best practices sharing, monthly calls and distributor calls
- Lead some cross-regional projects in close collaboration with markets
- Lead agile cross functional ways of working to ensure that more information is accessible to more people
Professional experience & know how:
- Strong Luxury background with previous experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales or Communications, preferably in the drinks industry.
- Track Record of handling planning and launching products
- Proven experience handling ATL, BTL and social media channel
- Strong consumer management track record.
- Excellent Project management skills
