Job Description
Perform configuration, trouble shooting, and issue resolution on a wide variety of mobile devices through effective use of technical knowledge and internal and external resources. Provide quality technical support via phone, email and a variety of remote tools across the organization with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and within Service Level Agreements.
- Perform configuration, trouble shooting, and issue resolution on a wide variety of mobile devices through effective use of technical knowledge.
- Provide technical assistance and support for all incoming queries and issues related to mobile device software and hardware.
- Utilize sound diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical problems reported by users.
- Ensure a ticket is created for every support request resolved or escalated.
- Provide immediate assistance in resolving user problems.
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
- Keep track of and monitor mobile assets.
- Perform mobile device configuration, maintenance, and installation, troubleshooting and process optimization to support the enterprise.
- Work with mobile device vendors on break fix initiative, battery replacements with manufacturers warranty defects for mobile devices.
- Determine the technical configurations and settings for mobile devices to comply with company policies.
- Implement all aspects of mobile device lifecycle from receiving assets to testing and repurposing.
- Maintain security and compliance regarding company information on company owned mobile devices.
- Monitor and control mobile device inventory and mobile asset management along with metrics that highlight opportunities for growth.
- Manage any procurement of mobile devices and accessories as per the procurement process.
- Manage all mobile devices and paperwork related to Mobile Service Providers are handled as per process that is aligned to handling of user mobiles and their data within the IT Security requirements.
- Manage all devices on the network through a MDM console, including all the settings and compliance rules applied and the maintenance of the tool to ensure all mobile devices are compliant within the IT Security requirements.
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Information Technology.
- 3 5 years experience in a Support Services/Help Desk environment.
- Solid knowledge in mobile device configuration, iOS and Android device support
