The Modern Workplace Administrator will be
part of the Service Delivery Team and is responsible for supporting our cloud technology and users.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the Microsoft 365 stack in an enterprise setting, which includes Intune, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support.
- Being the proprietor of JML (Joiner, Movers, Leavers) activities.
- Keep workstations up to date with patches using Windows Update for Business.
- Continually enhance Microsoft Autopilot endpoint deployment.
- Provide fundamental assistance for network services like DNS and DHCP.
- Using the ITIL model, ensure every IT service delivery is customer-focused.
- Collaborate to deliver top-notch IT services with both internal and external teams.
- Work independently on a range of activities and projects.
- Uphold high standards that place more emphasis on proactive prevention than reactive problem-solving.
- Keep documentation current and produce new ones to enable effective knowledge transfer.
- Diagnose issues and, where necessary, escalate technical help, assuming responsibility for the issue's resolution and working to increase end-user satisfaction.
- Acquaint yourself with technical support procedures such as ticket paperwork, SLAs, and escalation procedures.
- Be able to work both independently and collaboratively. Be a quick learner.
- Continue to have good English communication skills, adapting to the audience.
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 (Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Teams), Microsoft Office 2016 and/or M365 Office.
- Extensive knowledge of consumer Windows operating systems.
- A thorough understanding of the patching process.
- Expertise with a range of Windows deployment techniques, including Autopilot.
- Familiarity with Windows Server services like LDAP, IIS, and ADFS.
- A working understanding of networks and services like DNS and DHCP.
- Having an industry certification like MCSA or MCTS is beneficial.
- An understanding of ITIL is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
